Selection process
Submissions (continuous)

• Eligibility: To be eligible, entrants must submit an original snowboard rail clip and be available to attend and compete in the Whistler Qualifier event if selected as the winner.

• Entrants must submit original snowboard rail footage filmed during the current season and must have the rights to share that content.

● Submissions are open from June 15 – August 9
● Riders can post rail clips at any time during this period
● All eligible clips remain in consideration for bi-weekly selection cycles
● Tag @thegrind_series + @aavawhistlerhotel

Phase 1: Bi-weekly Shortlisting & Community Voting
Each cycle follows this structure:
● Submission window closes (Sunday night)
● Monday: Internal Review & Selection (The Grind team)
○ Team reviews all eligible submissions received up to that point
○ Selects 4 favourite clips
○ Prepares Instagram carousel for voting
● Voting goes live (Tuesday–Friday)
○ Community votes via Instagram Poll
○ Winning clip from each cycle advances to finals

Cycle timing
Cycle 1
● Submissions included: June 15 – June 28
● Internal review: June 29
● Voting live: June 30 – July 3
Cycle 2
● Submissions included: June 29 – July 12
● Internal review: July 13
● Voting live: July 14 – July 17
Cycle 3
● Submissions included: July 13 – July 26
● Internal review: July 27
● Voting live: July 28 – July 31
Cycle 4
● Submissions included: July 27 – August 9
● Internal review: August 10
● Voting live: August 11 – August 14

Phase 2: Finals
● The 4 winning clips (one from each cycle) are compiled into a final carousel
● Final Instagram Poll determines overall winner
● Voting period: August 17 – August 21

Prizes
● Nidecker Sensor snowboard (Craig McMorris pro model)
● 1-night stay at Aava Whistler (during qualifier event)
● Invitation to attend and compete in the Whistler Qualifier event
Approximate total prize value (ARV) : $1,200 CAD

Additional Information

• Submissions remain open throughout the entire campaign period.

• Each cycle includes structured review, curation, and voting phases.

• Content may be reshared throughout the contest to highlight standout clips.

• The contest is open to snowboarders of all ages.

• The winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message.

• The Grind Series reserves the right to verify eligibility and entry requirements prior to awarding prizes.
