THE GRIND SERIES

The Grind Series was born from a passion to amplify the snowboard event scene in Canada. Our goal is simple: push the boundaries of streetstyle snowboarding, challenge athletes, ignite creativity, and give riders the stage to showcase their skills and dedication to this part of the industry. We want to give back to the community and give people the opportunity to win real money, bringing as much cash to the table as we can, to divide it amongst the best.

Mission

We exist to celebrate the heart of street snowboarding. Bold, reckless, determined, and full of personality. Every course is built and designed with creativity and flow in mind, while also mimicking the real features found in urban spaces. Hard angles, high consequences, and unforgiving landings. We are inspired by the spots we see in our favourite films and edits and aim to bring that energy to the table with riders from across Canada and around the world who are showing up and showing off.

Culture

The Grind Series is more than tricks and spins, it is about style, courage, creativity, and grit. Putting on these events is no easy feat for anyone involved. We swim against the current because our love for snowboarding is stubborn; we are drawn to building something bigger and willing to sacrifice for it. People with originality, energy, and determination who grind to push the sport to new limits are how we get there. Our ears are open to the riders and industry around us to help shape what the future of this side of snowboarding can look like, because this is a collaborative effort, and it always should be.

Community

Riders, builders, employees, fans, volunteers, brands, and city officials are what make our events possible. We come together to grow the sport, celebrate talent, and give back to the communities we visit. Through our events, we aim to spotlight emerging riders, celebrate local culture, bring inspiration, and share a piece of our industry with the people around us.

Legacy

The Grind isn't just built for the event. We want to leave something behind. Some of the features we build for each event will be donated to local hills and parks, with the intent of giving communities something long-term to ride after the lights are off. It’s our way of investing in streetstyle to make sure the impact lasts beyond the weekend.
