Competition Info
As snowboarding moves toward bigger stages, its foundation matters more than ever. We build street-focused events that reconnect competition with the culture that created it. Designed for creativity, flow, and progression. This is not a traditional contest format built around perfect runs. It’s a live street session shaped by the riders on course.
Each city that hosts us becomes a temporary workshop:
Urban features. Experiments with format. Space for style to matter.
With invited riders, open qualifier spots, and continuity between stops, The Grind is creating a platform where performance is rewarded, but individuality leads.
We at the intersection of street culture and competitive progression, building a platform that respects snowboarding’s roots while pushing its future forward.
Expect a full day of high-energy snowboarding that includes practice, jams, and finals. Exact schedules and format details can be found on the event pages. Fans can catch the action live or on our streams and social channels.
The Grind Series is an exclusive ride. Invitations usually go to top-tier athletes, but if you’ve got the skills, guts, and style, we want to see you. Complete our Expression of Interest form, upload a short video showing your tricks and street creativity, and drop your social handles we’ll check your flow both on and off the course.
Each stop combines experienced street riders and industry voices, alongside respected local figures. Evaluation criteria remains consistent across the tour. Riders are judged on style, originality, technical skill, and flow. Street smarts, bold lines, and fearless riding will get you noticed. Registered competitors receive full judging criteria before the event.
It’s not just about respect — it’s about reward. Competitors battle for $30,000 CAD in cash at each stop. Divided equally between Men's & Wxmen's divisions. Additional awards are subject to change.
The Grind Series is more than a competition, it’s a movement. Push your limits, show your style, and let your riding do the talking. Join a community that lives and breathes snowboarding, celebrates those who push the culture forward, and sets the standard for street riding across the country.
