The Grind Series started in 2005 with a Pool Gap/Rail Jam contest during Waketoberfest. This year Under360 is working with their partners and sponsors to coordinate a series of Rail Jams. From the island of the TSR cable lake to the Congress Avenue Bridge in downtown Austin, The Grind will showcase a new and exciting progression in wake sports. The Under360 Winch and it's partner "The Grinch" gives riders the opportunities to go places never thought were possible. 1        Who is Under360?
Under360, LLC was founded in July 2003 by Dave Rowe and Jeff Alford. Ross Skrudland, Blake Davidson, and Mike Metcalfe officially joined the team in October 2007. As avid wakeboarders, they had the vision of starting a company whose main focus was promoting the riders, the community, and the sport in general. Under360 is dedicated to growing the sport of wakeboarding and the riders who make it their life. Under360 promotes through their events, DVDs, websites, online videos, etc.

2        What is a Rail Jam/Pool Gap?
A Rail Jam is a contest or exhibition where wakeboarders and wakeskaters compete by sliding or jumping over obstacles placed in or around water. This is a manifestation from the skateboard world and has become an extremely exciting event in wake sports. A Pool Gap is also a contest or exhibition where wakeboarders and wakeskaters traverse a pool of water into another pool of water.

3        Who is Under360 partnering with for The Grind Series?
Under360 has partnered with Roadway Events, the premiere event promotion company in Austin, Texas.

Roadway Events - Based in Austin, Texas, coordinates a wide variety of events in the Austin area. Some of their events include: Republic of Texas Biker Rally, Batfest, etc.

4        What is a winch? What is "The Grinch"?
Winches are a new and exciting progression in the sport and gives opportunities to go places riders never thought were possible. The winch allows wakeboarders to ride where boats would just not be an option. The winch also gives spectators a chance to be closer to the action. "The Grinch" is a winch produced by Distortion Boarding. They have partnered with Under360 to provide winches to the masses in Texas and throughout the country. 5        What is 360 Wakeboard and Waketoberfest?
360 Wakeboard Club is the local wakeboard club in Austin, Texas. They coordinate an end of year wakeboard fest and tournament each year in October. Waketoberfest 2006 will be the 8th Annual event. For more information check out 360 Wakeboard website
